Salkehatchie Stew Project Director, Frances Fleming Chavous, directs and coordinates all Salkehatchie Stew events for each of the 5 counties involved. Frances serves as a central resource for The Stew including publicity, marketing, advertising, scheduling and visitor accommodations. She also recruits storytellers and performers for the community productions. Frances can always be found somewhere between Allendale, Bamberg, Barnwell, Colleton and Hampton Counties.
